F. M. STOCKER DIES NEAR CLIFTON HILL; FUNERAL TODAY
CLIFTON HILL---Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Clifton Hill Baptist Church for Frederick Marcellus Stocker, 74, who died at 9:30 o'clock Saturday night at his home west of Clifton Hill. He had been ill the past six months.
The pastor, the Rev. W. W. Jordan, officiated and burial was in the Clifton Hill cemetery.
Mr. Stocker came with his parents to Missouri from Kentucky when he was young. In 1906 he was married to Miss Ora E. Brown, who survives. The couple lived on a farm in the Vaughn community until five years ago, when they moved to the farm home west of Clifton.
Besides his wife, Mr. Stocker is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Wilson of Norborne and Mrs. D. M. Vallee, Clifton: six grandchildren, Billy Wilson, Tommy and Bobby Wilson, Ronnie Mason and Jimmy and Betty Riley; and three brothers, Everette Stocker, Denver, Colo., B. Stocker, Kansas City, and Riley Stocker, Salisbury.
Mr. Stocker was a member of the Christian church.
