Reid Raymond Myers was born in Chicago, IL. Reid had 2 brothers Tyrone & David (1937-2004) and an older sister Avis L. (Myers) Van Pelt. Reid also had an older half-brother Thomas and half-sister Ursula. His early adolescence was spent in Illinois and from his early teens onward in southern California. Enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. Growing up Reid worked for his father's fence company and later as a machinist. Married his high school sweetheart Norma June Booth on March 3, 1958 in Newhall, CA. They had 3 children Michael (1960), Mark (1962), and Sherry (1964) as well as 6 grandchildren. In our hearts forever, left us much too soon.
