Great granddaughter of Revolutionary War Lt. Joseph Rudd #12345322 and his wife Sarah Story #12345316 from their daughter Lucy (Rudd) Boyce. Granddaughter of Joseph & Lucy (Rudd) Boyce and daughter of Henry & Mary (Almy) Boyce.

OBITUARY:
Mrs. Sidney Smith

Mrs. Josaphine M. wife of the late W. S. Smith of this place, died Saturday Sept. 21st, 1895, at her late residence on Main Street. Mrs. Smith was the victim of the dreaded disease, consumption and for the past three weeks kept (to) her bed. Mrs. Smith has been a true christian worker in the M. E.
church, carrying her share of the burdens of mission duty that has won the esteem and friendship of everyone. She was 54 years of age, born in New York, married Mr. Smith in 1860.

Mrs. J. R. Boice (sic) her mother was at her bedside also her sister Mrs. A. Eager of this city, and Mrs. Dr. Loomis of Janesville, together with her immediate family Miss Clara, Louie and Ed Smith. Funeral was held at her home Monday at 2:30 o'clock p.m.
