Effie Lou Moran

Effie Lou Moran, 82 of Dickson, died on Sept. 16 at Horizon Medical Center. The funeral service was held on Monday, Sept. 19 at 11 a.m. with Bro. Jim Dudley officiating. Burial followed at the Bishop-Adams Cemetery.

Moran is survived by her sons, Billy (Vivian) Moran, of Dickson, Larry Moran, of Vanleer, and Gary Moran, of McEwen, Tenn.; grandchildren, Brenda Jenkins, Thomas Halliburton (Kathy), Chrystal Bumbalough (Scott), and Christopher Moran; and three great-grandchildren Mitchell Jenkins, Brittany Jenkins and Amanda Jenkins.

Moran was the last survivor from a family of seven children. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Clarence and Matilda Adams, husband Truman Lee Moran, daughter Glenda Sue Halliburton and infant son Thomas Lee Moran.
