Mrs. Forsyth was born on June 27, 1912 in Paulding County, daughter of the late Thomas Gordon Camp and the late Sarah Francis Blalock Camp. She was a homemaker and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church of Paulding County. Mrs. Forsyth was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Arlin Monroe Forsyth on August 23, 2003; a son, Mr. Larry Forsyth; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Camp and Mrs. Maude Dodd; and three brothers, Mr. Belhi Camp, Mr. Gordon Camp and Mr. Bernice Camp.
Survivors include a son, Arlin Douglas Forsyth and wife Irene of Rockmart. Three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild also survives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Forsyth will be held on Friday, February 5th at 11:00 a.m. in the Friendship Baptist Church of Paulding County with the Rev. Bobby Walraven, Rev. Max Tucker and Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Interment services will follow in the family lot of the church cemetery with Rev. Tony Weaver officiating.
The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: David Wright, Doug Wright, Daniel Wright, Zach Thompson, Joe Camp and Wayne Fennell.
The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as honorary pallbearers: Larry Fennell, Ralph Meek, J. C. Thomas, Lynn Hulsey and Jerry Stringer.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, February 4th between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m.
