Typical, however, about discrepancies between parish registers and gravestones is the child's birth as January 20 on the stone. His death record, also at Immanuel Lutheran Church, documents him 3 days old upon his death on January 24. His gravestone documents him 4 days old on January 24. 'Gravestone wins?
