Daniel Lovey, 62, of 212 Avenue J, Weirton, died at the Ohio Valley hospital in Steubenville yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock of post-operative complications. He entered he hospital 12 days ago for surgical treatment.
He was a resident of the district for the past 32 years, being employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad, and was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his widow, Matilda; two sons, Daniel Jr., of Colliers, George of Conway, PA. and two daughters, Mrs. Paul Brown of Flushing, Ohio and Mrs. James Brown of Colliers. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Marie Goessling of Sharpsburg, PA. and Mrs. Katherine Schuller, Butler, PA.
Funeral mass will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Paul's Church. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery on Weirton Hghts. The Hertnick Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
