Mrs. Nel11e Becker, 76, who resided
with a daughter, Mrs. Doroth
Caradine, at 2721 Fifteenth street
Moline, died at 10:45 yesterday
morning in Graham Hospital, Canton,
IL. Mrs. Becker suffered a
stroke last Sunday at Canton while
riding with Mrs. Caradine to Springfield
to visit another daughter, Mrs.
Hazel Smith.
Funeral services will be held at,
3 Thursday afternoon in Knox-
Trimble funeral home, the Rev.
Stanley Graf of Gordon Memorial
Congregational church officiating.
Burial will be in Moline Memorial
Park cemetery.
Mrs. Becker was born July 8, 1870,
in Beloit, Wis. She was married
Feb. 20, 1895,to Oscar Becker in Beloit
and he died Dec. 6, 1927,following
which Mrs. Becker moved to
Moline to reside with Mrs. Caradine.
She was a member of the Congregational
church at Beloit.
Surviving are three daughters,
Mrs. Caradine, Mrs. Smith and Mrs.
Howard Hammack of St. Louis; four
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A sister and three,
brothers preceded her in death.
