George John Peterson, 61, of 2614 Gracewood Rd., died yesterday in Flower Hospital.
Born in Decatur, Ind., Mr. Peterson was a Toledo resident 32 years. He was a superintendent for the Terminal Service Co. He was a member of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church, Calumet Lodge, F & A M, and the New York Central Sportsmen's Club.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy R.; daughter, Mrs. Roberta Lou Culberson, Hinsdale, Ill.; sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Juergens, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Mrs. Gladys Schultz, Banning, Calif., and Mrs. Ruby Collins, Toledo; brother, Paul, of Lockport, N.Y., and two grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Boyer-Van Wormer Mortuary, Secor Road, with burial in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The body will be in the mortuary after 7 tonight. The family requests that any tributes be in the form of contributions to Ashland Avenue Baptist Church.
