Tracy M. Mariano
Community educator for women's advocacy
Tracy M. Mariano, 39, of 1401 Mansel Ave., Williamsport, died Sept. 11, 2011, at The Gatehouse Hospice. She and her husband Michael Mariano celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary in April.
Tracy was born Feb. 9, 1972, in Danville, the daughter of Linda Green of Berwick and Robert Green of Kingston.
She was a 1990 graduate of Berwick High School and was a graduate of Luzerne County Community College with a communications degree.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
Tracy worked for WISE Options for Women as its Community Educator. Tracy loved her son and enjoyed the people she helped and worked with.
In addition to her husband, Michael, and their son Austyn, Williamsport, she is survived by her parents; a brother, Robert Green; a sister, Kelly Oliveri; two nieces: Carissa Oliveri and Megan Oliveri, one nephew: Eric Oliveri, all of Berwick.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, in Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 47 S. Hunter Highway, Drums, Pa. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. There will be no viewing.
The family will provide flowers and suggest that memorial contributions in Tracy's name be made to American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
