Mrs. Russel was an active member of the Women's Auxiliary of the V.F.W.. A familiar face at the Grapevine Senior Citizens Center. She married George M. Russell, her best friend on 17 Jul 1943 in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away shortly before her on October 1, 1997.
Survivors include her daughter, Elleen M and husband. Gregory Klein of Gladwin, Michigan; , Bennett L. Russell of Grapevine, Texas; William G. Russell and wife, Linda of Gladwin, Michigan; John D. Russell and wife, Katherine of Lake Jackson; Lee P. Russell and wife Linda of Conway. Arkansas; and George T.
