Hudson, April 2 — Norman Fonda of this city died in Chatham last evening. About a week ago, while engaged in plastering the new Reformed church in that village, a scaffold gave away, precipitating him thirty feet to the floor. His injuries consisted of severe scalp wounds, broken breast bone, besides being injured internally. He was president of the Hudson Bricklayers and Plasterers Union.
