HYLAN V. SIMMONS, 80, of Memphis, retired Snap-On tool dealer, died of lung disease Saturday at his home. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. He was a World War II Air Force veteran. Mr. Simmons, the husband of Mary Lee Simmons, also leaves two daughters, Marilyn Kincannon of Monroe, La., and Pamela Kellum of Bartlett; a son, Larry H. Simmons of Spring, Texas; a sister, Martha Dealy of Almond, N.Y., eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
