Helen J. (nee Ababurko) Wasenko, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, formerly of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal rest, Monday, May 9, 2011, in her 87th year, after a brief illness. Helen was a retired employee of Lawless Container Corp. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, where she was a Bingo Caller on Team #2 and was a member of Pallottine Ladies Aide Society and also worked at their bingo.
Wife of the late George Wasenko, Sr.; dearest mother of George (Shirley) Wasenko, Jr., Judy (David) Richards, Sharon Soeman and the late James Wasenko; proud and loving grandmother of Christopher (Mary) Wasenko and loving great-grandmother of Catherine and James Wasenko, all of Virginia. Sister of the late Walter and Stephen Ababurko; also survived by nieces and nephews.
