Jacob Spindler November 2, 1928
The funeral for Jacob Spindler, who died at his home Thursday morning, will be held Sunday afternoon from the home at Howards Grove, and from the Reformed church at Franklin, the Rev. Mr. Gatermann, pastor of that church conducting the services. Burial will be at the Church cemetery.
The deceased was born September 16, 1849, in Germany, and for a number of years after coming to Sheboygan County resided on a farm in the town of Herman. Nine years ago, he and his wife moved to the village of Howards Grove.
Besides the widow, the survivors are the following nine daughters; Mrs. Otto Steinhaus, Mrs. August Abeling of Sheboygan, Mrs. Joseph Wagner, School Hill, Manitowoc County, Mrs. William Bramstedt, Howards Grove, Mrs. Fred Maurer, Kiel and Mrs. Otto Arnhoelter, town of Herman. Three sisters and two brothers also survive.
