He mustered out July 17, 1865

Wife: Louise J. 1840-1891
Daughter: Bertha C. 1876-1969∼At age 18 enlisted August 27, 1861 mustered in September 18, 1861 as a private in Co. B. 8th Illinois Cavalry; re-enlisted as Veteran on November 30, 1863; mustered out July 17, 1865, as a sergeant.
