A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, in Skyline Funeral Home for Wilbur Raymond Rowe, who died Feb. 6 at age 91.
Mr. Rowe was born Feb. 16, 1908, in Blackhawk, Colo. He was raised and educated in Golden, Colo., where he lived until moving to Lake Oswego in 1990. He worked for Spark's Motor Co. for 40 years and then was a custodian for Jefferson County schools in Colorado until retiring in 1972. He was a volunteer firefighter for 50 years and a member of First Methodist Church of Golden. He married Stella Price in 1929.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Rose Marie Lathrop; brothers, William V. and Willis C.; sisters, Edna Pomeroy and Ruby Weuve; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances to the American Heart Association. Private interment will be in Skyline Memorial Gardens.
