Noted philosopher, mystic, voyager and writer in catalan, latin and arab language, born in Palma de Mallorca in the Middle Ages. He is remembered for his books "Blanquerna" (this includes Llibre d'amic i d'amat), "Vida Coetània," "Arbre de Sciència," "Els cent noms de Déu," "Ars Magna," and "Cant de Ramon." He is buried in Convent of San Francesc.
