She went with her parents from place to place, as her father's occupation required him to go, until they finally settled at Canon City, Colorado. Here she graduated in 1908 from high school. Annabelle devoted much time to the study and practice of music both vocal and instrumental, where she acquired great proficiency. At an early age she united with the Methodist Church. While in Denver, Colorado Annabelle was employed as a clerk in the Knight-Campbell music store.
