Wisey Mabel Deere Weaver passed to be with the Lord on August 31, 2011 at 8:00am at her home surrounded by her loving family. A wake service is scheduled for 6:30pm on Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Hudson-Phillips Chapel in Holdenville. A funeral service is scheduled for 2pm on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Hudson-Phillips Chapel in Holdenville. Allison Phillips will be officiating. Preceding her in death are her parents: Thompson Deere and Wisey Goat Deere. Brothers Andrew J. Deere, Johnnie Deere, Benjamin Deere, Tommy Deere, baby Charles Deere, baby sister Samaria Deere. Mabel Deere Weaver was born on March 24, 1923 in Hughes County, Oklahoma. Mabel was baptized on January 22, 1933 by Reverend Sam B. Davis at Cedar River Indian Baptist Church. Mabel Deere Weaver was installed as Number 2 women's leader on August 14, 1993 at Cedar River Indian Baptist Church by Pastor Reverend Andrew Deere. She held several other offices in the church as well. She retired from St. Anthony's Hospital after many dedicated years of service she returned to her home in Holdenville. Her final resting place will be Cedar River Indian Baptist Church Cemetery.
