Married Sarah Cave Talbott on August 9, 1832, who died in 1835. Married Zerelda Kirtley on July 4, 1838, who died in 1870. Married Sarah Kirtley on Sept. 28, 1872.
A farmer, he built the original Haden House in Columbia as well as the Haden Opera House on Ninth Street and Broadway. Both buildings burnt down. A reconstruction of the original Haden House survives and has been used as a restaurant and night club. The Commerce Bank Building currently sits on the site of the Opera House.

The will of Patsey Talbott, Boone County, MO #415, names Margaret Haden as an heir. She is referenced as the daughter of Sarah Talbott Haden, deceased.
