Janice R. Shell
~Mrs. Janice Rose Shell, 51, of State Line Road, Elizabethton, died Tuesday, June 1, 1993, at the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital after a brief illness.
~Mrs. Shell was a native of Johnson County. and a daughter of the late Rev. Stanley B. and Vivian Rose Reece Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leon Shell, May 10 1992, and by two brothers.
~Mrs. Shell had lived in Butler for a number of years before moving to Cleveland Heights, Ohio, where she had lived for 30 years. She was a 1960 graduate of Johnson County High School and attended East Tennessee State University for three years. She was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church.
~Survivors include a Daughter of Cleveland, Ohio; five Sisters, four Brothers and three Grandchildren. Several Aunts and Uncles also survive.
~Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Shell - Funeral services for Mrs. Janice Rose Shell, 51, of State Line Road, Elizabethton, will be conducted at 7 p.m. from the Biltmore Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Carrier and Evangelist Jim Brown officiating. The church choir, Gladys Burrough, pianist, and Donna Williams, organist, will be in charge of music. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Sugar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Butler.
The family will receive friends in fellowship hall following the funeral services. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 11:45 a.m. Saturday to go to the cemetery. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
