Mary Barding-Liming, 87, of Decatur died 3:40 a.m. Thursday (March 18, 1999) in her residence. Services will be Monday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.

Mrs. Barding-Liming was born in Oakley, the daughter of Wilbur and Jennie Hayes Lichtenberger. She was a member of the Summit Avenue Baptist Church and former member of Northwest Christian Church. She attended Christian College, taught Sunday school and played in the Elderberries Kitchen Band.

She married Carl C. Barding of Decatur on May 13, 1930. He preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 1966. She then married John Fleener of Decatur on August 9, 1975. He preceded her in death in 1977. She married Andrew Liming of Decatur on April 17, 1991.

Surviving are her husband; sons, Richard L. Barding and wife Patricia of Decatur; Gene Barding and wife Marilyn of Decatur; daughter, Mary Jordan and husband Jerry of Clinton; stepchildren, Isaac Liming, Gary Liming, Andrew Liming Jr., Ester Castle and David Liming; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren and four great-stepgrandchildren; sisters, Doris Smith of Indianapolis, Ind.; Ruth Coates and husband Lloyd of Mount Zion; Evelyn Hayes and husband Melvin of Decatur; Alice Branson and husband Tom of Decatur; Carolyn Delp and husband George of Sun City, Ariz.; Janet DeVore of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two brothers, one sister, two sons and three grandchildren.
