Death of B. B. Holland
Mr. B. B. Holland died at his home near West Blocton, on last Thursday, May 27th , after a long illness. Mr. Holland was one of the oldest citizens of Bibb
County. He was born Sept. 2, 1836 and had he lived until his next birthday would have been 90 years of age.
He was married to Cynthia Reach, Sept. 1859. To this union eleven children were born, all of whom are living save one.
He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. He has been a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church 45 years and was a Confederate veteran. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. A. Henderson.
