Pearl Adell Myers, 86, died Dec. 3, 2006, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

She was born March 6, 1920, in Arlington, the daughter of Sylvester Tobias and Flora Adell Shipley Krob. She graduated from Arlington High School and Adela Hale Business College, Hutchinson. A longtime resident of Little River, moving to Hutchinson in 1981, she was a homemaker and worked in accounting for Kwik Shop for 20 years.

She belonged to Westside Baptist Church and Ladies Bible Study of the church.

On Jan. 23, 1949, she married Vern Levi Myers in Turon. He died Jan. 15, 2001.

Survivors include: two daughters, Janet L. Gobber and husband, Neal, Hutchinson, and Patricia A. Dunmire and husband, Barry, Cannock, Staffordshire, England; and three grandchildren, Chad Gobber, Stephanie Dunmire and Caleb Dunmire.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Ralph and Leo Krob.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Westside Baptist Church, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Barry Dunmire and Pastor Tim Adrian presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Excelsior Cemetery, McPherson County.

Memorials may be sent to the church or American Foundation for the Blind, in care of the mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
