Charles Albert Stimpson Griffin was the first born of Eleizer Griffin and Sarah Stimpson.
At the age of four, Stimpson immigrated with his family on the ship "Yorktown" from England to New York City.

1856: They were living in Dover, Fayette County, Iowa.
July 17, 1860: They were living in Lancaster, Cass County, Illinois.
July 2, 1870: They were living in Arcadia, Morgan County, Illinois.
Feb 11, 1875: Stimpson graduated from Pulte Medical College as Homeopathic Physician at the age of 24.
1880-1881 Certificate of the State Board of Health of Illinois: Stimpson had been practicing for 4 years, 2 years in Illinois as Physician of Homeopathy.
Jun 22, 1878: He became a naturalized citizen.

Feb 26, 1880: Married Angelina Liter in Liter, Morgan, IL.
Jun 11, 1880: Physician in Morgan County, IL
May 18, 1883: Cyclone killed his baby daughter and left his wife and himself unconscious. He was injured about the head and internally. Other members of the Griffin family died or were injured.
Six days later he died from his injuries and was buried next to his wife and daughter.
