Nelsonville- Harry Rizer, 73, of 911 Poplar St., died Tuesday afternoon in Mount St. Mary Hospital, Nelsonville following a long illness.
He was a retired brick mason. Born in Nelsonville, he was a son of the late Clifton and Loa Rizer. Mr. Rizer was a member of the Nelsonville Pilgrim Holiness Church. His wife Edith died in 1965.
Surviving him are two sons, Jack of Lancaster and James of Lancaster, a brother Howard of Marion, nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Two brothers, James and Arthur, preceded him in death.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Warren Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Minsker officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
