He was born Sept. 22, 1917, in Clarksville to the late Virgil and Lola May Gunn Bohannon.
He was a retired coal miner, formally employed by Clarksville Light and Water company and Clarksville City Police and was a barber.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Williams Bohannon; a daughter, Dana Bea Bohannon; four sisters, Alene Johnson, Virgie Wise, Wilma Duff and Jessie Farris; and three brothers, Sid Bohannon, John Marple and Tom Davidson.
Survivors include two daughters, Romona Kindrick and husband Paul of Alma and Sandra Bullard and husband James of Alma; four grandchildren, Paula Kronberg, Scott Kindrick, Blake Kendrick and Karl Bullard; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Oakland Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Hardwicke Funeral Home.
