Roy was a member of the Sons of American Legion of Hartford City and Delco Battery Sympathy Club.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Sue (Todd) Arnold; one son, Philip (wife: Christy) Arnold of Muncie; two daughters, Karen (husband: Ronald) Harless of Parker City, and Melissa Jones of Hartford City; three step-daughters, Gail (husband: Jim) Walker of Cambridge City, Tracy Shannon of Muncie, and Jill Mieth (husband: Tony) of Muncie; two step-sons, Jody (wife: Angie) of Wabash, and Jeff Caudill of Muncie; one sister, Phyllis (husband: Jack) Taylor of Michigan City; one brother, David (wife: Holly) Arnold of Winchester; fourteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters.
Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Parson Mortuary with Rev. Chris Bunch officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
