C. B. Coggins Of Route 3 Passes Thursday.

C. B. Coggins, age 70, of LaFayette Route 3, passed away last Thursday, following a lengthy illness. He. was a lifelong resident of Chambers County.
Funeral services were held on Friday, November 18, at 11 a.m from Johnson and Sanders Funeral Home, with Rev. J. H. Harris conducting. Interment was in LaFayette cemetery with Johnson & Sanders in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Coggins was a member of Sandy Ridge Methodist Church, and is survived by the widow; one son, Ray Coggins, LaFayette Route 3; one daughter, Mrs. C. L. Ward, Selma; two brothers, N. E. Coggins, Goodwater, and A. J. Coggins, Roanoke; two sisters, Mrs. J. D. Allen, Lanett, and Mrs. W. L. Downs, Birmingham.
Pallbearers were Jack Liles, Marvin Still, Tillman Slaughter, George Weaver, Bud Osburne and Ed Langford.
