Melba Jean Grafft, 74, of Angleton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 12, 2011. She was born on August 23, 1936 in Conroe, Texas to Robin Glen Crunk and Viola Hayden Crunk. Melba had resided in Angleton for 45 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; husband, John Grafft; and son, Randy Grafft.

She is survived by her daughters; Kim Grafft of Angleton, Gloria Grafft of Angleton, and Diann Grafft of Rosharon; sisters, Mildred Hodges of Conroe, Juan Corley and husband Paul of Huntsville, and Jerry Mills of Conroe; aunt, Fanny Brown of Conroe; sister-in-law Bee Crunk of evening Shade, Arkansas; and grandson Charles Grafft.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with services to start at 11:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton. Services will be conducted by Rev. Paul Corley. Burial will follow at Pilgreen Cemetery in

Conroe, Texas, at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2011.
