LA VERNE DOROTHY WILLIAMSON Born June 10, 1919, in Chicago, La Verne passed away January 27, 2010 at Antelope Valley Care Center in Lancaster. She was 90 years old. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Louis C. Williamson; her sister, Madelyn El lzey of Laguna Niguel; her daughters, Fern Cassidy (husband Gene) of West Hills, and Nina Tethers (husband Mike) of Santa Clarita; grandchildren, Brian, Amanda, and Adam Tethers, and Kellen Cassidy; and Louis Williamson's sons, Larry and Jeff and their families. A Memorial Service will be held at the gravesite on February 15, 2010, at Mojave Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Her family wishes to extend their thanks to the nurses and staff of ProCare Hospice and Antelope Valley Care Center for taking care of her for the last year and a half. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in La Verne's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
