Desiree Josephine Trujillo, 21, passed into the arms of Jesus on Aug. 9, 2011. Desi was an amazing young lady with a beautiful smile and spirit that lit up the room. Desiree was blessed with a beautiful voice and the talent to play and pitch softball. She was loved by all that had the honor of knowing her and will be sadly missed. She joins in Heaven her great-grandpo, Lee Gutierrez; uncles, Johnny Gutierrez and Mike Builta. Survived by her parents, Andy Trujillo and Dawna Trujillo; siblings, Dominic and Angel; great-grandma, Dora Gutierrez; grandmas, Sue Gutierrez and Virg Armijo; grandpa, John (Frances) Gutierrez, Andy (Ruth) Trujillo; aunties, Shari Builta, Nasia (Gabe) Gitzen, Lauretta (Ron) Nuci, Lisa (Gil) Ayala; and uncles, AJ and Erik; nieces, Brittani, Beulah, Jazzy and Sapphire; nephew, Tony; special friends, Dean and Jacob Gonnerman, Blaine, David, Gail and boyfriend, Jake Gonzales; special cousins, Arthur, Jeremy, Gabby and Jodene; and numerous other friends and relatives. Service, 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at Family Worship Center, 3800 Parker Blvd. Reception to follow, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., VFW Hall, 127 Spaulding, Pueblo West.
