A funeral service will be held Saturday for David Irvine
Moldovan, 1040 March St., Sharon. He died of natural causes
at 11:40 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, in the hospital of
Sharon Regional Health System following a lengthy illness. He was 56.

Mr. Moldovan was born Dec. 11, 1946, in Sharon to John
Moldovan and Helen Vilagi Moldovan.

He attended Farrell area schools. David was a grinder at the former National Castings Division of Midland-Ross Corp., Sharon, retiring on disability after 18 years of service. He previously worked for Valley Mold and Iron Co., Hubbard. David was a social member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 439; Slovenian Home; and Carpatho-Russian Citizens and Social Club, all Sharon; and the
German Home, Farrell. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was a Roman Catholic.

Surviving are: his mother, Helen Moldovan, Sharon; a
daughter, Tracey L. Parrish, wife of Gordon, Mercer; a
brother, John Moldovan, West Middlesex; and a former wife,
Martha Moldovan, Sharon.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Moldovan, who
died Jan. 3, 1995.

Burial: Interment services private onMonday (9-15-03) in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
