Alice Kaemingk, 85, of Sioux Center, died on Sunday, August 11, 1991 at the Sioux Center Community Hospital.

Services were scheduled for Wednesday morning, August 14, 1991 at the First Reformed Church in Sioux Center, the Reverend Harold Lenters officiating, with burial in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Chapel in Sioux Center.

Mrs. Kaemingk, the former Alice Schut, was born on March 13, 1906, in Sioux Center, the daughter of Teunis and Minnie (Bierma) Schut. She was united in marriage with Theodore Kaemingk August 14, 1925 in Sioux Center. He died August 16, 1985 in Sioux Center.

Survivors include two sons, Tunis or Orange City and Harold of Sioux Center; two daughters, Wilemina (Mrs. Arvin) Schuiteman of Sioux Center and Margaret "Mike" (Mrs. William) Kooi of Ireton; two daughters-in-law, Ravina De Zeeuw and her husband Gerit of Sioux Center, and Helen Kaemingk of Orange City; 19 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Arnold and Theodore, Jr.; two great-grandsons; three sisters, Margaret Schut of Sioux Center, Harriet Borgman of Santa Maria, CA (formerly of Ireton, IA), and Fanny Cleveringa of Sioux Center; three brothers, Sam, William, and Gerald Schut, all of Sioux Center, and a son-in-law, Arvin Schuiteman.
