Mrs. Leonard Rich

Mrs. Rosie Annalee Rich, 46, Route 8, Lenoir, died Tuesday in a Winston-Salem hospital.

Mrs. Rich was born Sept. 30, 1924, in Avery County, the daughter of Mrs. Ella Mae Loudermelt Coffey of Lenoir and the late Tom Coffey. She was a member of Boone Fork Baptist Church in Watauga County.

Surviving are he mother; her husband, Leonard A. Rich; six daughters, Mrs. Betty Sharpe of Taylorsville, Mrs. Shirley Hollars, Route 8, Lenoir, and Mary Ann Rich, Francis Rich, Roberta Rich and Martha Rich, all of the home; five sisters, Mrs. Zudie Hatley, Mrs. Arizona Coffey, Mrs. Cordie Coffey, Mrs. Epsie Coffey and Mrs. Dollie Coffey, all of Lenoir; five brothers, Arlie Coffey of Boone, and Clinton, Abner, Lewis and Johnny Coffey, all of Lenoir; and five grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Boone Fork Baptist Church by the Rev. Richard Holshauser. Burial will be in White Springs Cemetery.

The body will remain at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home at Boone, where the family will be from 7 to 9 o'clock this evening, and will be placed in the church one hour prior to the funeral.
