Former Councilman of Northern City Passes Away After Short Residence in This City - Funeral Today
Funeral services for George G. Ambs, a former councilman of Spokane, Wash., will be held this morning at 10 o'clock at the chapel of Booth & Boylston. The exalted ruler of the Elks and the noble grand of the Odd Fellows will officiate.
Mr. Ambs came here about six months ago with his wife and three young children and resided at 600 East Thirtieth street, where he died.
Mr. Ambs was prominent in municipal affairs in Spokane, where he was largely connected with the Elks and the Odd Fellows.
Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery. Mrs. Ambs will make her residence in Los Angeles.
