William Watson "Dock" Whitfield and Leander Mae "Ann" Bruner were married in Jackson County, Florida in 1858. He has two sisters, Caroline Frances and Jane Whitfield. My GG Grandfather went by his middle name Watson or his nickname "Dock". The name William is used repeatedly in the Whitfield family; his older brother is William Elvin (Alvin) Whitfield. My father H. Alvin (Boots) Yankie was named for him.
