Taken from the notes of Gary Tucker: Jemimia Amtower who is buried in the little cemetery is Jemima Elmira Harris, the daughter of John and Martha Tucker Harris. Jemima Elmira married George Amtower 10 September 1873. He came to Grant County, WV from Germany when 12 years old. He was born at Darmstadt, Germany 04 May 1843 and died 23 June 1924. The Amtower farm was at Llaurel Dale, Mineral County were George is buried. At her request Jemima was buried in the Harris family cemetery.
