Ella was married to Edward J. Murphy. She had two daughters: Claire Jacqueline Schwartau Solheim (née Murphy) and Ella Barbara Murrow (née Murphy).

She was survived by 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Added to her family after her passing are 5 great-grandchildren and 27 great-great-grandchildren who have all heard and love the stories of the lady we loved and knew as "Nana".

She was a wonderful, lovely lady who I remember dearly as my Nana...and she is forever in our hearts.
