Son of William and Ella Rosella (Schaub)Chester. After Ella's death Cecil was raised by William and his second wife Susie Chester. Owner, operator of Chester Typewritter store in Wichita, Ks for over 50 years. Also played the drum is a few bands. Known as Slim because of his tall skinny frame. He lost two finger and part of his left arm in a train accident when he was young. This handicap allowed him to reach his remaining fingers farther into typewritters to fix them. He married Mytle Elizabeth (???) and had two daughters: Genevea L (Rhodes) and Frances E (Rivers) He then married Carolyn Marie (Rhodes) and had a son Jack E. and daughter Carolyn Jane.
