Death of Mrs. Elizabeth Rountree

SWAINSBORO, Ga., Feb. 12.--The announcement today of the death early this morning of Mrs. Elizabeth Rountree, an estimable lady living a few miles out in the county, was received with much regret.

Mrs. Rountree, who was before her marriage Miss Elizabeth Burnett, a daughter of Ishmael Burnett, one of the pioneers of Emanuel County, was the widow of Mr. Allen Rountree, a brother of the late lamented Judge George S. Rountree. She had only one child, George I. Rountree, with whom she made her home.

She was a consistent member of the Primitive Baptist Church. The burial will take place tomorrow at Old Canoochee.
