Mrs. Ferne Adams , 71, of 308 W. 30th St. died Thursday at a local hospital. Ferne was born July 16, 1896, at Charter Oak, Iowa. She married Paul A. Adams May 18, 1922 at Sioux City. They moved to Sioux Falls in 1941. Mr. Adams died last April. Mrs. Adams was a teacher at All saints School. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William Barns of Mitchell, a son, Jim M. Adams of Sacramento, Calif., and four grandchildren.
