Harold Lee King, 71, of Inez passed away on Wednesday, August 03, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his family. Harold was born September 1, 1939 in Bloomington, Texas to the late Chester Lee and Pauline Rabenaldt King. He was retired after thirty years from H.B. Zachry, a member of the St. John Lodge #5 in West Columbia and served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Lana Foutz King of Inez, daughter, Wendy King Marvin and her mother, Lynette Shannon King both of Port Lavaca, brother, Nathan (Mary) King; grandchildren, Kade Marvin and Kingslee ( Chance)Deckard; great grandchildren, Maddie and Holston Deckard and one on the way; nephews, David L. (Debbie) King and Carl L. (Julie) King and three loving four legged children, Brodie, Pumpkin and Slade.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by a son, Conde N. Anderson III and son-in-law, Steve Marvin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 from 5-8 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 1 PM with Rev. John David King and Rev. Carol Cabbiness officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council and Masonic graveside services will also be held by the St. John Lodge #5 Lodge of West Columbia.
Pallbearers include Kade Marvin, Aaron King, Bradley King, Brandon King, Todd Schmidt and Tyson Schmidt.
Honorary pallbearers are Conde Anderson III, Steve Marvin, John Meeks, Ryan King, Billy Sparks, Dave Mitscherling, Ralph Wilson, Don Allen, Leon Hessler, Roy January, Chuck Matson, all employees of H.B. Zachry Company, Hospice of South Texas and DeTar Nurses on 5 East & TICU.
