Death notice in The Argus of Aug. 5, 1932: MALLETT. -On the 3rd August, 1932, at Lauriston, Murrumbeena, Alfred Thomas Mallett, beloved husband of the late Sarah Ann Mallett, loving father of Elsie (Mrs. Bayley), Florence (Mrs. Bastin), Alfred Thomas (deceased), Ernest, Leslie, William and Victor. Aged 71 years - Rest in peace.


Son of Thomas B. Mallett and Luisa Mallett. He was married to Sarah Ann Bastin in Heidelberg on April 14, 1887.

They were the parents of nine children: Elsie, Florence, Alfred, Ernest, Leslie, Albert, William, stillborn, and Victor.
