Mandy L. Dean, age 30, loving mom, daughter, sister, granddaughter and aunt, passed away Friday, June 22, 2007 after a courageous battle with melanoma. Mandy was a cheerleader and a member of the gymnastics team at Franklin Heights High School and was a member of the class of 1994. For the past 10 years, Mandy was employed by the Bureau of Criminal Investigations in London. Mandy was a very determined young lady and fought this disease with all her strength. Her website, MandyDeansjourney can be viewed at www.carepages.com. Mandy was a member of the IC Support Group and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Until recently, Mandy taught cheerleading and gymnastics at Reflections Dance Studio. She was very active with her daughter and best friend McKaley at the Grove City Cheer Center. In addition to McKaley, Mandy is survived by her loving parents, Desi and Cindy Dean; her brother, John Dean; sisters, Kelly (Jeff) Autrey, Nicole Tyo, and Maggie (Jay) Staton; grandmothers, Mary Lee Laneve and Mary Jane Dean; loving nieces and nephews; other family members and dear friends. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday and 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Rosary Service 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3730 Broadway, Grove City. Rev. Fr. John L. Swickard celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
