After being in poor health for some time, there passed peacefully away at her residence, lot 19, con.6; Uxbridge Township, on Sunday,Feb. 12th, 1928, Hanna Wideman,wife of George Hopkins, in her 75th year. She was of a retiring nature and was highly respected in the
community. She was a member of the Christian Church at Bloomington.
Born in Markham Township, the deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Wideman, who were pioneers of that township and were well-known and highly respected.
For many years Mr. Hopkins worked for Todd & Cook of Stouffville. About 18 years ago with her husband they moved to Uxbridge Twp. To mourn her loss besides her husband, she leaves seven children, namely: Herbert at home, Edward of Victoria Corners, Roy of Uxbridge Twp., Mrs.B.Arthurs, Mrs.Ronconi,Mrs.B.Brown, Toronto, and Mrs.M.Linton of Oshawa.
