The last rites for Mrs. Albert Placek of Milligan were held Friday, March 5, 1937. After a short private prayer service at the residence, the body was conveyed to the Milligan auditorium followed by the immediate relatives, where the services were in charge of Chas. Smrha of Lincoln and Rev. K.O. Zavadil of Wilber, assisted by the ZCBJ and Royal Neighbor Lodges. The Pasek quartet sang. Interment was made in the South Milligan cemetery, beneath a beautiful blanket of floral tributes.

Mrs. Mary Placek, maiden name Cecrle, was born July 2, 1874 in Trtice, Czechoslovakia and died at her home in Milligan, Nebraska on Tuesday, March 2 1937 at the age of 62 years and 8 months.
