MRS. ANNA SMITH DIES IN HOSPIAL
White Sulphur (RNS)
Mrs. Anna B. Smith, 76, of White Sulphur Springs, formerly of Charleston, died Thursday in a Ronceverte hospital after a short illness.

Born at Ward, January 19, 1896, she was a daughter of the late Daniel W. and Catherine (Woodrum) Hudnall.

She attended the Penecostal Holiness Church and was a member of the Kate Carpenter Rebekah Lodge NO. 51.

Her husband Clifford W. Smith preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. E. (Faye) Gartner of Baltimore, Md., three brothers, Lance of Densmore, Fla., and Howard and Charles both of Cedar Grove, four sisters, Mrs. Mary Crowder of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Pearl Terrell of Hendrickson, Texas, Mrs. Masel Myers of Cannelton, and Mrs. Garnett H. Watson, of White Sulphur Springs, four grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Shanklin Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs after 9 a.m. today and the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.

The body will be taken to the George Cook Funeral Home in Cedar Grove, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Saturday and the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the George Cook Funeral Home with Rev. Ross C. Harrison in charge. Burial will be in Ward Cemetery near Cedar Grove. Nephews will serve as pallbearers and great-granddaughters will carry flowers.
