She was a native of Savannah and had lived in Waycross during her childhood years. She was the wife of the late Frank Elliston Brazelle and daughter of the late Milton Wade Bailey and Emma Strickland Bailey. She was also preceded in death by a son, Steven Wade Brazelle, a daughter, Debbie Anne Brazelle Leger, and her brother, James N. Bailey.
She was a former school teacher and homemaker. She was a graduate of the Ware County School System and Valdosta State College.
Survivors include a daughter, Anita B. McCoy of Braselton and a granddaughter, Kailyn Anne McCoy of Braselton.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday (July 24, 2011) at Greenlawn Cemetery.
